How Personal Finance Coaching works
Budgeting/Marriage and Money/Eliminating Debt/
Saving/Building Wealth/Saving for a House or Retirement
You are invited to sign up for a free half-hour phone consultation in which we will discuss your situation and how coaching might help you. When you determine that coaching will be beneficial to you in reaching your financial goals, we will schedule your first coaching session.
You can schedule your free consultation here. Choose a time that will work for you and your spouse/partner. Before your consultation, fill out and submit the Personal Finance Snapshot and a budget form. Bring the completed budget form with you. If you don't know exact numbers, just approximate.
Payment is due at the first coaching session. We can take cash, checks or debit cards (we're trying to get you OUT of debt, so no credit cards!) Following each coaching session, we will provide you with "homework" assignments which will be specific recommendations for you to focus on for change.
We committed to providing all of our clients with exceptional care. When a client cancels without giving enough notice, they prevent another client from being seen.
Please call us at 435-802-3569 or email 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to notify us of any changes or cancellations. If prior notification is not given, you will be charged $50 for the missed appointment.
Getting on the Same Page with Your Spouse
Picture a Financial Coach as a personal trainer for your finances. We sit with you and survey your financial realities, from A to Z. The foundation of our coaching is the importance of creating and living on a budget. Nearly everyone knows about budgeting, but so few of us practice it. At best, we outearn what we spend in a given month and breathe a big sigh of relief that we made it. Or we keep on eye on the bank account to make sure it never drops below zero, alternately spending and then slamming the brakes on. At worst, we cannot make ends meet at the end of the month and we take on water each month.
The relationships in your life that are stressed because of money will be unearthed. You'll learn to make decisions based on a solid framework of goals and understanding rather than on feelings.
Everyone has a financial life as real as their emotional life, work life, spiritual life and physical life. Even though we give them separate names, they are all part of the whole person.
